Former Real Madrid keeper Dudek says Messi was ‘deceptive and provocative’

Wanna hear a name you haven’t heard in a bit? Jerzy Dudek. The former Real Madrid goalkeeper recently wrote a book. A tale, about the life and times of Jerzy Dudek. In this book, Dudek hit out at Lionel Messi.

The former Madrid keeper was Iker Casillas’ backup while at the club. He discussed Messi and Pep Guardiola’s ability to deceive.

“He was deceptive and provocative, the same as Barcelona and Pep Guardiola.”

“They were so ready to provoke you and they were able to do it to perfection.

“That hurt Jose Mourinho and the whole team a lot.

“I saw Messi say such rude things to Pepe and [Sergio] Ramos that you would not imagine from such a quiet and seemingly good person.”

Dudek also has a bit of a pop at some of his former team-mates in his book too, as he calls Raul “egocentric” and Cristiano Ronaldo “arrogant.”
