Roma vs Bologna: Preview, Predictions and Betting Tips-6th November-2016

Roma vs Bologna
2016/17 Italian Serie A.
Date: Sunday, 6th November 2016
Kick-Off: 19:45 UK,
Venue: Stadio Olimpico (Rome).

Roma will look to use their midweek Europa League win to build up some positive momentum as they welcome Bologna to the Stadio Olimpico this Sunday.
The Giallorossi will be kicking themselves after failing to find a way past Empoli. Given that the Azzurri have the worst attack in the division and are shaping up to be among those relegated at the end of the season, the scoreless stalemate will have left Roma feeling more like they actually lost that game. The race for the Scudetto is rapidly shaping up to be a multi-party affair and every point lost between now and May can prove to be quite costly.
Edin Dzeko in particular has been quite excellent for Luciano Spalletti’s side. The big Bosnian struggled in his debut season in Serie A, but now has settled in quite well and will hope to add more to his tally against the Rossoblu. After failing to find his shooting boots against Empoli, the ex-Manchester City man will be eager to continue his own push for the Capocannoniere by grabbing a goal or two in this upcoming fixture – as Ciro Immobile sits just one behind him with nine goals.
As for Bologna, they are a side in free-fall. The Rossoblu have failed to win their last five games, and have picked up just three points out of a possible 15. They will be coming up against a team who have been absolutely flawless on home turf. Roma have won all five of their Serie A home games this season, and that will be a daunting fact for a team who probably are hoping the international break will give them a chance to regroup and refocus.

Roma vs Bologna: Head-to-head statistics

  • Roma are unbeaten in 15 out of their last 16 meetings with Bologna across all competitions.
  • The Giallorossi have a 100 per cent record at home in Serie A so far this season
Bologna have drawn their past three away games.
  • The Rossoblu are also winless in their last six matches.
  • Roma have seen over 2.5 goals in their past six home Serie A matches.
  • The Lupi have netted at least three goals in five out of their last six home games.
  • Bologna have won two, drawn seven, and lost 11 out of their last 20 away games against teams ranked higher than them in the table

Roma vs Bologna: Prediction

Bologna, despite their woes, have managed to score in all of their away games so far. That’s bound to cause Roma some issues, as the Giallorossi still can’t seem to keep a clean sheet. In fact, they have only Even their win over Austria Wien was a lot more nervy than Spalletti would have liked, and in the first leg, they led 3-1 only to concede two late goals to draw 3-3.
They’re also facing an injury crisis of sorts at the moment, with five defenders out, making Spalletti’s selection that much more difficult. That being said, the form that the Lupi are in right now will surely see them through against a Bologna side whose bad form certainly isn’t helped by their injuries that have plagued them this season. A relatively comfortable win for Roma is on the cards, albeit keeping a clean sheet will be quite tough.

Inter Milan vs Crotone: Preview, Predictions and Betting Tips-6th November-2016

Inter Milan vs Crotone
2016/17 Italian Serie A.
Date: Sunday, 06 November 2016
Kick-Off: 17:00 UK,
Venue: Stadio Giuseppe Meazza (Milan).

Inter will hope not to become the next side to suffer an embarrassing result against Crotone as they welcome the Serie A debutants on Sunday.
The Squali finally ended their long way for their first ever top flight win by defeating Chievo 2-0. It was a comprehensive performance for them and one that their fans surely were celebrating well into the evening. However, they’re still bottom of the table and are shaping up to make a prompt return to Serie B unless if they can turn things around – and quickly.
There have been small signs of improvement so far. Prior to the win over the Flying Donkeys, they were five minutes away from pulling off what would have been a shock win over Fiorentina. Whilst they conceded to have to settle for a point, it was still an impressive result, and one that they used to build upon ahead of their game against Chievo.
The question is, can they do it yet again against an Inter side who have been nothing short of a disaster this season? Frank De Boer was given his marching orders after overseeing a dismal run of form that have seen them slip down the table into a very disappointing 12th spot. Their European campaign is also in tatters after losing 2-1 to Southampton, which leaves them mired to the bottom of the table with just three points.
Inter are now having to find a third new manager in just four months. They also have not been able to keep a clean sheet in their past six games, and in fact, their solitary clean sheet was against Empoli, a team who have scored just two goals in 11 games.

Inter Milan vs Crotone: Head-to-head statistics

  • Crotone have failed to win their past six away games.
  • The Squali only won their first Serie A game this past round (2-0 vs. Chievo).
  • They picked up their first away point prior to that by holding Fiorentina to a 1-1 draw.
  • Inter have won 13, drawn four, and lost three out of their last 20 home games against teams below them in the table.
  • Crotone have scored in their last six Serie A games.

Inter Milan vs Crotone: Prediction

Inter are a side in flummox, but they should not fail to come out on top here. Crotone are growing in confidence, but even on their worst day, the Nerazzurri are a gulf in class above the Squali. Crotone are, as noted before totally new in this situation and are feeling confident after their impressive 2-0 win. They will be hoping for an upset, but Inter are still a formidable side and are no Chievo.

The Nerazzurri still have that well-known name and that in itself could be intimidating for a Crotone team still trying to navigate their way amongst the “big boys”. Given that both teams struggle to keep clean sheets, there could be goals on either end.

Fiorentina vs Sampdoria: Preview and Prediction

Fiorentina vs Sampdoria: Preview, Predictions and Betting Tips-6th November-2016
Fiorentina vs Sampdoria
2016/17 Italian Serie A.
Date: Sunday, 06 November 2016
Kick-Off: 17:00 UK,
Venue: Stadio Artemio Franchi (Florence).
Can Fiorentina translate their European form into domestic success? Certainly, many Viola supporters must be asking themselves that question.
It probably confounds many that the Viola have been so good in the Europa League, but have struggled in Serie A. After all, they are no strangers to competing on two fronts, and although their quartet is pretty easy, not all of their opponents in Serie A have been the toughest, either. However, they appear to be slowly turning things around. They are pretty much on the cusp of sealing qualification from their Europa League group and are on a four-match unbeaten streak.
Paulo Sousa’s men are indeed working their way up the table, but they will need to do much more. At the start of this round they are five points off a Europa League automatic spot for next season. Their attack is also a major source of concern. Up until their 5-3 win over Cagliari, they had netted just six times.
They still lag well behind Napoli, Juventus, Roma, and Lazio, but Nicola Kalinic finally appears to be getting up to speed. The Croatian has been accused of some major profligacy, but he has netted seven times in his past five games across all competitions and will surely be hungry to add more this Sunday.
Meanwhile, Sampdoria come into this game having beaten Inter, which effectively spelled the end of Frank de Boer’s tenure at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza. However, they have not won an away game since opening day and have struggled to prevent their opponents from scoring. Indeed, they could find things really tough against Fiorentina, who have been pretty solid at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.

Fiorentina vs Sampdoria: Head-to-head statistics

  • Fiorentina are unbeaten in their past 10 home games against Sampdoria.
  • The Viola have lost just one out of their last 20 home games against teams ranked lower than them in the table (13 wins, six draws).
  • Sampdoria’s record in their past 20 away games against teams ranked higher than them in the table is 13 losses, six draws, and just one win.
  • Sampdoria have failed to win 10 out of their last 11 road games

Fiorentina vs Sampdoria: Prediction

Sampdoria are really floundering, and this is something Fiorentina can take advantage of. The Viola need to start stringing some wins together if they want to rebound after a difficult start, and they should have no trouble seeing off their struggling visitors this Sunday. Sampdoria did manage to beat Inter, but that was at home. On the road, as noted before, they have found things quite difficult since that huge win at the start of this season.
