Caracas FC eliminó al Sport Huancayo de Perú

Caracas FC consiguió con mérito su avance a octavos de final de la Copa Suramericana al someter 4-3 a Sport Huancayo de Perú y en calidad de visitante. El partido de ida en el Olímpico fue ganado por los "Rojos del Ávila" 2-0 para quedan con balance final de 6-3.

 Diomar Díaz fue el gran protagonista del encuentro con un Hat Trick, marcando goles a los minutos 27, 46 y 69.

El elenco peruano asumió su rol protagónico y merodeó el área criolla, pero sin generar verdadero peligro. Abrió la cuenta con cabezazo de Salinas, tras tiro libre. Los criollos aguantaron y llegaron a la igualdad con buena definición de Diomar Díaz, cerca de la media hora.

Huancayo volvió a ponerse arriba tras insistir mucho, con el tanto de Valverde tras una buena combinación. El gol llegó sobre el final del primer tiempo.

El inspirado Díaz no dio tregua y redondeó su hat-trick marcando tras dos buenas jugadas colectivas, y de pierna derecha. Sauñe, por el local, maquilló el marcador antes que Aristeguieta sobre el pitazo final liquidara con su gol.

El ganador del cruce entre el Atlético Paranaense (Brasil) y Peñarol (Uruguay) será el próximo rival del Caracas.

LAFC planning Blackout of LA for El Trafico derby match

Any LA Galaxy supporters who get a ticket to Banc of California Stadium for the derby match on Thursday night (10:30 pm ET | ESPN — Full TV & streaming info) should stand out prominently.

LAFC are planning a “Blackout” of the Banc for their first home derby match, asking all their supporters to wear black to the match.

But the blackout is not just limited to matchday.

Every day this week LAFC will also be doing their part by sending street teams and their club truck to local partner establishments and other iconic locations and neighborhoods.

The club’s supporters are clearly getting into it, based on the #BlackoutLA hashtag on social media.

Gianluigi Buffon, Marco Verratti, Adrien Rabiot in PSG squad for Singapore ICC

SINGAPORE -- Gianluigi Buffon, Marco Verratti, Adrien Rabiot and Timothy Weah are the star names in Paris Saint-Germain's International Champions Cup squad that has departed the French capital for Asia.

The Italian pair, the France international and the promising American talent are joined by the likes of Kevin Trapp, Layvin Kurzawa, Giovani Lo Celso, Lassana Diarra, Christopher Nkunku and Julian Draxler in the travelling party.

Angel Di Maria has been granted a few extra days of holiday and will link up with Thomas Tuchel's men in Singapore, while Neymar, Thiago Silva, Marquinhos and Edinson Cavani will also report for preseason training before the Trophee des Champions in Shenzhen, China, early next month.

World Cup winners Kylian Mbappe, Presnel Kimpembe and Alphonse Areola will not feature at any point during PSG's Asian Tour as they are on holiday.

Three missing names from the French champions' Singapore squad are Goncalo Guedes, Grzegorz Krychowiak and Jese Rodriguez.

According to the capital club's official squad list, the Portuguese and the Spaniard "will train at Camp des Loges" as rumours of moves away for both swirl.

Krychowiak was "granted permission to stay in Paris" but has since joined Lokomotiv Moscow on a season-long loan.

PSG opened their 2018 ICC campaign with a 3-1 defeat to Bayern Munich in Klagenfurt, Austria, last Saturday.
