E a fechar a Liga o Benfica-Sporting.

Standard Liege vs Club Brugge Prediction & Match Preview

Standard Liege vs Club Brugge
Belgium – First Division A
Date: Wednesday, 12 February 2020
Kick-off at 19:30 UK/ 20:30 CET
Venue: Stade Maurice Dufrasne (Liege).
Club Brugge has been a tough team to defeat when playing both at home or away. Even without the home ground advantage, the visitor will probably take something out of the clash with Standard Liege.
  • Standard Liege form: 24 matches – 12 wins – 5 draws – 7 losses – 41 points.
  • Club Brugge form: 24 matches – 17 wins – 6 draws – 1 loss – 57 points.
Standard Liege is at the fifth place and Club Brugge is currently the topper of the table with 8 points difference with the second-placed team.

Standard Liege vs Club Brugge Head-to-head (h2h)

  • The team that hosts have stayed unbeaten in their last 12 fixtures.
  • Blue-Black has recorded three of the recent five wins.
  • Both teams have scored in four of the last five games held here.
  • Their previous encounter ended in a 1-1 draw hosted by the Club.

Standard Liege vs Club Brugge Prediction

Last time out, Standard Liege were on the road facing Kortrijk. They managed to slot in only a goal against the three put inside by Kortrijk with all action coming in the second half of the game. It marked their third loss in their past five league fixtures.
To make things worse for the host, they have marked only three wins in their last ten matches across all major competitions. Also, they are 16 points behind the visitors in the league table giving Club Brugge an upper hand in the game.
Besides, Standard Liege have taken a dip in form at home. Their recent five home matches saw them winless in three of them with two losses included in it. In sharp contrast, Club Brugge has been unbeaten in their last five away fixtures.
Also, the Club has lost only one of their 12 away games so far in the campaign. Meanwhile, Standard Liege has lost two in their 12 home matches with both losses coming in recent encounters.
With Club Brugge at the top of the table, the punters should not have any confusion regarding the favorites to win in the clash. Since the Club has shared the spoils in their last two away matches, it will be safer to go with a double chance in the clash.
Another safe bet for the punters will be in the scoring area with the match rooting for a BTTS in ninety minutes. This is backed by the home ground advantage for Standard Liege as they have scored in all but one in their last 16 home matches.
With an average of 1.9 goals per match in their league away fixtures, Club Brugges is sure to join the party at Stade Maurice Dufrasne. Hence, the punters can go with BTTS as a safe bet for the match along with the double chance.

Standard Liege vs Club Brugge Betting tips

  • Double chance: Draw or Club Brugge @ 1.40 (2/5).
  • Both teams to score @ 1.66 (4/6).

Celtic vs Hearts Prediction & Match Preview

Celtic vs Hearts
Scotland – Premiership
Date: Wednesday, 12 February 2020
Kick-off at 19:45 UK / 20:45 CET
Venue: Celtic Park (Glasgow).
Celtic have always been a tough team to take down, and even more so, in their own backyard. With the hosts showing no signs of slowing down whatsoever, a change in fortune is certainly not on the cards for Hearts this week.

Celtic vs Hearts Head to head (h2h)

  • Their previous clash saw Celtic post a 2-0 victory.
  • Four of their past five encounters have featured over 2.5 goals on the charts.
  • Both teams have found the back of the net together in four of their last seven meetings.
  • None of their previous ten matchups have ended as a tie.
  • Hearts have registered the win just once in their past ten fixtures. (W-1, D-0, L-9)

Celtic vs Hearts Prediction

Celtic made light work of Motherwell in their last clash on the road by slotting no less than four unanswered goals past them. The hosts are on a seven-match winning streak in all competitions as we speak, and have admitted defeat just once in their previous ten games on the trot.
With a whopping total of sixty-seven points to their name, the home team are currently seven points ahead of second-placed Rangers.
On the other hand, Hearts are yet to show any signs of promise in the Premiership. Miserably, they are without a win in their past two clashes in the top flight, the most recent of which saw them lose 3-2 to Kilmarnock.
To make matters worse, the 2-1 win over Hibernian, way back in September, was the visitors’ last and only taste of success on the road. In sharp contrast, Celtic have picked up the win in all but one of their previous twelve games at home.
Taking into account that Celtic have also secured the bragging rights in each of their past eight meetings with this foe here, the odds are certainly stacked against Hearts in this one.
Furthermore, goals have always been a given whenever Celtic line up on home soil. Impressively, the hosts have racked up thirty-seven goals up till now, which is five more than any other side in the cluster.
To top it off, all of their past five h2h encounters here have been high scoring affairs. Hence, it is certainly safe to count on Celtic to win and to do so with over 2.5 goals on the final scorecards.

Celtic vs Hearts Betting tips

  • Celtic -1.5 Asian Handicap @ 1.60 (3/5)
  • Over 2.5 goals @ 1.60 (3/5).

Kilmarnock vs Rangers Prediction & Match Preview

Kilmarnock vs Rangers
Scotland – Premiership
Date: Wednesday, 12 February 2020
Kick-off at 19:45 UK / 20:45 CET
Venue: Rugby Park (Kilmarnock).
Kilmarnock have dropped points, more often than not, in their clashes on home soil. With Rangers stumbling just once on the road so far, it looks like the hosts have their work cut out for them this week.

Kilmarnock vs Rangers Head to head (h2h)

  • Their previous meeting saw Rangers pick up a 1-0 win.
  • Three of their past five clashes have featured over 2.5 goals on the charts.
  • Both teams have found the back of the net together in five of their last eight matchups.
  • Only one of their previous ten games have finished as a stalemate.
  • Rangers have registered the win in half of their past ten fixtures. (W-5, D-3, L-2)

Kilmarnock vs Rangers Prediction

Kilmarnock completed back to back wins, for the first time since late October, after they took down Hearts on the road with a 3-2 scorecard. Despite being reduced to ten men in the closing stages of the game, the hosts did just enough to thwart their counterparts from finding an equalizer, and deservedly walked away with all three points at the last blast of the whistle.
It is also worth mentioning that the home team are currently unbeaten in their past three games in all competitions. As far as the Premiership is concerned, Kilmarnock are sitting seventh on the ladder, one-point shy of the Championship group.
On the other hand, Rangers got the better of Hibernian in their last clash at home. The visitors have not been at the losing end in any of their past four games, and have stumbled just once in their last ten.
Furthermore, to be frank, Steven Gerrard’s men have been a force to reckon with, even on the road. They have admitted defeat just once away from home this season. And are, at present, sporting the second-best away statistics in the cluster as well.
In sharp contrast, Kilmarnock have not been able to ensure a similar consistency in their respective matchups at home. The hosts have tasted success just once in their past four Premiership games here.
Taking into account that their last meeting with this foe here also saw them at the losing end of a 2-1 scorecard, it is certainly safe to expect Rangers to pick up the win in this one.
Additionally, irrespective of the venue, Rangers know their way around in the final third. Impressively, they have scored two goals or more in all but one of their past eight outings in the top flight.
Meanwhile, fifteen of the twenty-five goals that Kilmarnock have netted so far have come from their clashes on home soil. Moreover, four of the previous six clashes at this stadium have witnessed a total of three goals or more on the final scorecards.
Given that five of their last six h2h meetings here have also featured over 2.5 goals on the charts, expect no dearth of goals come Wednesday either.

Kilmarnock vs Rangers Betting tips

  • Rangers -1 Asian Handicap @ 1.50 (1/2)
  • Over 2.5 goals @ 1.70 (7/10).

Lyon vs Marseille Prediction Match Preview

Lyon vs Marseille
Coupe de France
Date: Wednesday, 12 February 2020
Kick-off at 20:05 UK / 21:05 CET
Venue:  Parc Olympique Lyonnais.
With Marseille last tasting success over this foe, on the road, well over a decade ago, Lyon are favorites to pick up the win this Wednesday.

Lyon vs Marseille Head to head (h2h)

  • Their last meeting ended in a 2-1 win for Marseille.
  • Four of their previous five encounters have featured over 2.5 goals on the charts.
  • Both teams have found the back of the net together in three of their past five clashes.
  • Only one of their last ten fixtures have finished as a stalemate.
  • Marseille have registered the win just once in their previous ten games. (W-1, D-4, L-5)

Lyon vs Marseille Prediction

Lyon got the better of Nice in a highly entertaining 2-1 victory in the previous round of this competition. Despite holding on to a 1-0 scoreline for the most part of that game, the hosts conceded an equalizer in the 89th minute, which looked almost certain to force the fixture into extra time.
However, the home team were handed a lifeline in the form a penalty-kick, in the dying minutes of stoppage time, which Houssem Aouar made no mistake in converting.
Meanwhile, Marseille booked their berth in the quarter-finals by taking down Strasbourg at home with a thumping 3-1 scorecard. It is also worth mentioning that the visitors are currently unbeaten in their last sixteen clashes in all competitions.
Be that as it may, the guests have picked up the win in just half of their past six outings. Furthermore, Marseille have been at the losing end in each of their previous three visits here in the running.
To make matters, the hosts have admitted defeat in just two of their last twelve matchups on home soil. With home advantage favoring Lyon, Marseille have been cast as the underdogs in this one.
Having said that, the visitors have shared the spoils four times on the road this season. Taking into account that they have also held the hosts to a draw in four of their last nine trips here, it will be safer to back a draw no bet this week.
Additionally, Lyon have racked up the goal-scoring tally, more often than not, in their fixtures at home. That too, on their own. In fact, they have netted two goals or more in all but one of their previous five games here.
Moreover, two of their past three h2h meetings at this stadium have featured over 2.5 goals on the charts. As such, expect nothing short of a high scoring affair to unfold this week.

Lyon vs Marseille Betting tips

  • Draw no bet: Lyon @ 1.50 (1/2)
  • Over 2.5 goals @ 1.75 (3/4).

Dijon vs PSG Prediction & Match Preview

Dijon vs PSG
Coupe de France
Date: Wednesday, 12 February 2020
Kick-off at 17:30 UK / 18:30 CET
Venue: Stade Gaston Gérard (Dijon).
PSG have admitted defeat just twice on the road this season, one of which, was at the hands of this very same foe. With a shot at redemption also up for grabs, count on the visiting contingent to settle for nothing less than the win this week.

Dijon vs PSG Head to head (h2h)

  • Their last clash witnessed Dijon pick up a surprise 2-1 victory.
  • All of their previous nine encounters have featured over 2.5 goals on the charts.
  • Both teams have found the back of the net together in three of their past seven meetings.
  • None of their last ten matchups have ended in a tie.
  • PSG have registered the win ten times in their previous twelve games. (W-10, D-0, L-2)

Dijon vs PSG Prediction

Despite being the odds-on favorites, Dijon had their back against the wall in the previous round of this competition, after Limonest managed to hold to a 1-1 draw at the end of regulation time. The clash then looked almost certain to head for penalties after the scoreline remained unaltered towards the closing stages of extra time as well.
However, Stephy Mavididi soon turned hero for the Ligue 1 side after he managed to find the back of the net in the final minute of stoppage time.
On the other hand, PSG breezed past Pau FC with two unanswered goals to their name in their respective Coupe De France clash. The guests hardly broke a sweat in that latter matchup and finished the ninety minutes with ten attempts at goal. Four of which, were right on target.
It is also worth mentioning that the visitors are in fine form at the moment, and have been tasting nothing but success in their past eight games in all competitions. Furthermore, PSG have come out on top in all of their trips on the road since the start of this year.
In sharp contrast, Dijon have secured the bragging rights in just half of their past six games here. Taking into account that the visitors have also come away with the win in five of their previous six visits to this stadium, Dijon’s chances of tasting success in this one are certainly looking bleak.
In addition, the hosts have been scoring goals at will in their recent clashes on home soil. Impressively, they have found the back of the net eleven times from their past three matchups alone.
Meanwhile, the guests have scored two goals or more in each of their last four outings on the trot. Moreover, PSG have kept a clean sheet just once in their previous five h2h meetings with this foe here.
As such, count on Dijon to have their names on the scoresheet along with PSG come Wednesday.

Dijon vs PSG Betting tips

  • PSG -1 Asian Handicap @ 1.50 (1/2)
  • Both teams to score @ 1.66 (2/3).

Athletic Bilbao vs Granada Prediction & Match Preview

Athletic Bilbao vs Granada, Spain – Copa del Rey
Date: Wednesday, 12 February 2020, Kick-off at 20:20 UK/ 21:00 CET
Venue: Estadio San Mamés (Bilbao).
Considering the h2h superiority of Bilbao, their home advantage, their form at home this season, and the struggles of Granada on the road, there arises no doubt as to whom the tag of the favorites goes – Athletic Bilbao.

Athletic Bilbao vs Granada Head-to-head (h2h)

  • Bilbao are on a three-match winning run against this opponent.
  • Six of the last nine wins went to Athletic Bilbao.
  • Granada have scored a total of three goals from their previous six visits to this stadium, while the hosts netted five goals from the past two matches alone.
  • Since 2011, only once have Granada won at this venue.

Athletic Bilbao vs Granada Match Preview

Athletic Bilbao will be on cloud nine after their 1-0 win at home against Barcelona in the Quarters. In the closely-contested ninety minutes, Barca had managed to outplay the Basque outfit, but still, the home team held the composure to deliver the win at the last.
The win not only eliminated a major contender for the title, but probably the last major team remaining in the competition as well.
The new format of the contest has seen some high-profile exits early. As of now, the teams that are left in the tournament are these two, plus Miranda (second division), and Real Sociedad.
Suffice it to say, Bilbao might not get a chance as this in the near future to lift the Copa trophy.
Meanwhile, Granada too had secured a confidence-boosting win, that too against the reigning champions, Valencia.
Granada had the home advantage, and they had played hosts to the title-winners of last season. Scores were level at 1-1 even into the injury time, but the home team was awarded a penalty in the 90+4th minute, which Roberto Soldado converted.
The thrilling win will surely raise the spirit, and self-belief of the squad, and they certainly will now try to pull off another upset.
However, their record on the road poses some serious questions.

Athletic Bilbao vs Granada Prediction

First of all, Bilbao have the home advantage, and they have been a force to reckon with, at this venue since the start of the season. In fact, they were unbeaten in 15 of their last 17 home fixtures, and 11 of these were wins. And the latest one of those wins, was against Barcelona.
Moreover, they were also unbeaten in 16 of their preceding 19 overall games, and are the second-most successful team in the history of the competition after the Blaugrana.
On the other hand, Granada were winless in 13 of their past 18 overall fixtures, and have a single win on the road from their previous 13 attempts. And embarrassingly, eight of these were losses.
In addition, Bilbao are on a three-match winning run against this opposition, and they have lost just once against this team at home, since 2011.
Taking these observations into account, we are inclined to pick Athletic Bilbao as the strong favorite for this upcoming encounter.

Athletic Bilbao vs Granada Betting Tips

  • To Win: Athletic Bilbao @ 1.80 (4/5)
  • Over 1.5 Team Goals by Athletic Bilbao @ 2.20 (6/5).

Inter Milan vs Napoli Prediction & Match Preview

Inter Milan vs Napoli, Coppa Italia
Date: Wednesday, 12 February 2020, Kick-off at 19:45 UK/ 20:45 CET
Venue: Stadio Giuseppe Meazza (San Siro) (Milan).
Inter have been tearing it up in the Serie A this season. They have done it to an extent that Juventus are actually placed second in the table as of now.
On top of that, the Milan outfit have the home advantage, and they had defeated Napoli on the road a few weeks back with a 1-3 scoreline. Likely, expect a winning performance from Inter Milan this Wednesday.

Inter Milan vs Napoli Head-to-head (h2h)

  • Inter are on a scoring streak of three games against this opponent.
  • Four of the former seven wins went to Milan as well.
  • Eight of the previous seven wins at this venue went to the hosts.
  • Napoli have scored a total of one goal from their last four visits to this stadium.

Inter Milan vs Napoli Match Preview

Inter Milan had locked horns with Fiorentina in the Quarters at home. The hosts then won with a 2-1 scoreline.
It was a totally dominating and disciplined performance from Antonio Conte’s men. Not a single player from the Milan outfit was cautioned with a yellow, while four from the other side were.
The win also stood true to the overwhelming trend of wins for home teams in the Coppa Italia.
Meanwhile, Napoli delivered one of the toughest wins of their season in the Quarters. They had hosted the high-flying Lazio, and recorded a narrow 1-0 victory.
It was a tense affair, as both sides were reduced to ten on the pitch due to red cards. Napoli had led for almost the whole of the game, as the sole goal of the game had come in the 2nd minute itself.
Later, Lazio did win a penalty, only for Ciro Immobile to fail to score.
The thrilling, hard-fought win will definitely provide confidence to the players, and that too against Lazio, who are just one point below the top-most position in the league table.
Going on, Inter Milan are on a three-game winning run, and a ten-match unbeaten run. They were also invincible in 20 of their last 22 overall fixtures, and at home, since April they have faced just two defeats in total. And it surely requires to be mentioned that the losses had come against Juventus, and Barcelona.
On the other hand, Napoli had lost five of their last ten match-ups, and were winless in 14 of their preceding 20 fixtures. And on the road, they could secure a total of just three wins from their prior eleven trips.

Inter Milan vs Napoli Prediction

Inter Milan are the slight favorites here. First of all, they have the home advantage. To put things into perspective – 16 of the 18 first round games, 15 of the 20 second round matches, 13 of the 16 third round fixtures, 7 of the 8 fourth round match-ups, 7 of the 8 Round of 16 battles, and the whole 4 of the Quarter Finals – all saw wins by home teams.
On top of that, Inter Milan are the toppers of the Serie A table, even above Juventus, while counterparts Napoli are placed 11th in the table. Moreover, Inter had just won against Napoli on the road with a 1-3 scoreline (league, 7 Jan 2020), and only twice have they lost at home against this opponent since 2000.
In addition, Napoli could score a total of one goal from their prior four visits to this stadium, and all these factors combine together to pick out Inter Milan as the likely team to register the win.
However, do note that this is the semis of a major competition, and Napoli had shown their fighting spirit against Lazio. They might struggle against this Milan side, but they definitely are not going to make it easy for Conte’s men.
There’s little chance that this game would turn out to be a high-scoring affair.

Inter Milan vs Napoli Betting Tips

  • Inter Milan to Win Either Half @ 1.50 (1/2)
  • Under 2.5 Match Goals @ 2.00 (1/1).

Assim, o time do Sertão do Pajeú ocupa agora a terceira posição do Estadual, atrás de Náutico e Santa Cruz.
