Bandung -Persib Bandung tinggal melakoni satu laga tandang di Shopee Liga 1 2019. Tim asuhan Robert Alberts ini akan menghadapi Borneo FC di Stadion Segiri, Samarinda, Rabu (11/12/2019).
Robert pun menargetkan tiga poin dalam laga pekan ke-32 tersebut. Robert optimistis setelah melihat pasukannya melawan PSS Sleman.
"Tentu kami punya target untuk lawan Borneo FC. Kami main bagus kemarin dan cukup baik untuk mendapat kemenangan melawan PSS, tapi lini tengah dan depan masih perlu diperbaiki," ujar Robert sebelum bertolak ke Samarinda.
"Kami tahu jika kami main seperti saat melawan PSS, kemudian memperbaiki penyelesaian akhir, kemenangan bukan mustahil," katanya.
Terkait kekuatan Borneo FC, Robert mengakui tim asuhan Mario Gomez itu tangguh apalagi ketika bermain di kandang sendiri.
"Kami tahu posisi mereka di Liga sangat bagus, mereka bermain sangat agresif dan pemain Persib Bandung harus siap untuk itu, juga siap untuk segala keputusan wasit meski itu sangat berat," kata eks pelatih PSM Makassar ini.
3 Hari Persiapan
Robert menegaskan, laga versus Borneo FC akan menjadi laga berat bagi Persib Bandung. Apalagi, skuatnya memiliki persiapan tiga hari.
"Borneo main di kandang kemarin jadi tidak melakukan perjalanan. Sedangkan kami melewati perjalanan panjang karena harus ke Balikpapan dulu lalu menggunakan bus ke Samarinda, jadi kami harus lakukan recovery," tutur Robert.
Meski demikian, pelatih berusia 65 tahun ini tetap menargetkan skuatnya membawa tiga poin pada laga nanti.

Sousa, who brought all his assistants to the post-match press conference, praised his players but said Bahrain can't be satisfied just yet.
“This is a great achievement and it is due to the hard work of the players,” said Sousa. “They had great belief and fought very hard in each match.
“We achieved two titles in 2019 (Bahrain won the WAFF Championship in August) and this is something good for Bahraini football,” he added. “However we still have a lot of work ahead as we have the Asian Qualifiers next March and we must keep winning.”
Sousa paid tribute to the big number of Bahraini fans who attended the match.
“I want to thank the fans who created a great atmosphere,” he said. “They were the 12th player for us as they made the difference tonight compared to the previous match against Saudi Arabia in the group stage (which Bahrain lost 2-0).”
Saudi Arabia head coach Herve Renard praised the performance of Bahrain, who he said deserved to win the title.
“I want to congratulate Bahrain for their title victory,” said Renard. “They dealt with us very well defensively and also showed great effort as a group."
“We had many scoring chances, especially in the first half where we also missed a penalty. We tried our best to come back but we failed.
“We were missing some key players through injuries and this affected us,” he said. “We should now forget this match as the tournament is over for us and we must concentrate on the Asian Qualifiers.”
