Burnley vs Tottenham Prediction & Match Preview

Burnley vs Tottenham
England – Premier League
Date: Saturday, 7 March 2020
Kick-off at 17:30 UK/ 18:30 CET
Venue: Turf Moor (Burnley).
As per current form, the Clarets seem the better team. Spurs are on a four-game losing run, while their counterparts are going on an active streak of six unbeaten PL fixtures. Likely, expect the hosts Burnley to be put forth a dominating performance.

Burnley vs Tottenham Match Preview

Sean Dyche’s men were held to a goalless draw on the road the last match-day, by Newcastle. Despite the dropped two points, it was the fourth unbeaten game in a for the team, and the third clean sheet from the prior four fixtures.
This improvement in form have put the squad in a position to challenge for a Champions League ticket. Ten more match-days remain till the end of the season, and the teams above the Clarets have some tough upcoming fixtures.
As such, the future looks bright for the team, if they are able to post points consistently on the board.
In the meantime, Mourinho’s men lost 2-3 at home the prior game week, against Wolves. It was their second PL loss in a row, and it also contributed towards the squad’s current four-match losing run.
Even after the arrival of the ‘Special One’, the Hotspurs are finding it hard to bounce back to form. However, all blame could not be laid on the Portuguese gaffer. He las lost the services of very valuable players due to injury.

Burnley vs Tottenham Head-to-head (h2h)

  • The reverse fixture had ended in a 5-0 win for Jose Mourinho’s men.
  • 10 of the former 13 wins had gone to the Spurs as well.
  • The last time these two met at this venue, the hosts won 2-1.
  • Since 2004, only twice have the guests delivered victories at this ground.

Burnley vs Tottenham Prediction

As things stand, Dyche’s men seem to be the favorite. They are unbeaten in their last six PL matches on the trot, and had four of those. The team scored two or more goals in four of their last six league matches, and also were unbeaten in four of their previous five home appearances in all competitions.
On the other hand, the Spurs have lost their past four match-ups in a row, and conceded a total of eight goals in the process. Importantly, on the road, the team was winless in 16 of their preceding 20 trips.
And of their total four away wins this season, two had come against recently promoted teams, one was versus a relegation-battler, and the final one had come in opposition to a team from a much inferior league.
As a result, expect the hosts of the day Burnley to emerge victorious at the Turf Moor. However, do note that Mourinho’s men are still in hunt for a spot in the top-most tier, and are still considered to be one of the elites of English Football.
Moreover, they had won the reverse fixture 5-0, and had historically dominated this opponent in h2h clashes. Taking these information into account, it’s expected that Tottenham will score at least once in the game.

Burnley vs Tottenham Betting Tips

  • Double Chance: Burnley or Draw @ 1.50 (1/2)
  • Both Teams to Score @ 1.80 (4/5).

Wolves vs Brighton Prediction & Match Preview

Wolves vs Brighton
England – Premier League
Date: Saturday, 7 March 2020
Kick-off at 15:00 UK/ 16:00 CET
Venue: Molineux Stadium (Wolverhampton).
Considering the recent impressive run of the Wanderers, along with the dismal performances of the Seagulls for the past several weeks, it’s estimated that Wolves will display a winning performance this weekend.

Wolves vs Brighton Match Preview

Wolverhampton recorded a 2-3 win on the road the last match-day, against Tottenham. The fact that the team was able to pull off a victory against Jose Mourinho’s Spurs, that too on the road, deserves some recognition.
As of now, the Wanderers are placed sixth in the table, and are level on points with the fifth-placed Manchester United. However, note that the Red Devils next take on Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City, and could be counted on to drop some points.
As such, Wolverhampton could take the fifth spot for themselves, and if they manage to finish their league campaign in that position, they could secure a ticket to the Champions League (considering that Manchester City are now banned from the competition for the next two seasons).
Elsewhere, Graham Potter’s men lost 0-1 at home against Crystal Palace. It was their ninth winless game in a row, and put them in a situation where they have managed a total of three wins from the last four months.
With a surplus of just one point over the relegation cut-off, the squad is now flirting with disaster. They desperately need some points, or else could start packing for their stint in the Championship.

Wolves vs Brighton Head-to-head (h2h)

  • The reverse fixture had ended in a 2-2 draw.
  • 13 of the prior 15 match-ups had under 2.5 goals.
  • The guests had failed to score in two of their previous three visits to this stadium.
  • Since 2000, the Seagulls have won just once at this venue.

Wolves vs Brighton Prediction

The Wanderers have an opportunity to make a pass at a CL ticket, and this weekend, they are taking on a side that has a total of three wins from the past four months. In addition, disregarding a single match, Albion have been completely winless on the road since August.
Moreover, the two teams come from either end of the table, with Wolverhampton coming from the top tier, while, their counterparts being in danger of being included in the relegation zone.
In addition, the hosts of the day have not conceded a single goal in their past three appearances at this venue, and this stretch included a match-up against Leicester. In the process, the team also had scored a total of seven goals.
Finally, only thrice have the Wanderers lost in the PL this season at home. And all three losses had come against some of the best teams in the competition – Liverpool, Tottenham, and Chelsea.
Taking these findings into consideration, and the chance for the hosts to get into the fifth spot in the table, it’s presumed that Wolves will record a convincing win this weekend at the Molineux Stadium.

Wolves vs Brighton Betting Tips

  • Wolves to Win @ 1.67 (2/3)
  • To Score in First Half: Wolves @ 1.80 (4/5).

Southampton vs Newcastle Prediction & Match Preview

Southampton vs Newcastle United
England – Premier League
Date: Saturday, 7 March 2020
Kick-off at 15:00 UK/ 16:00 CET
Venue: St. Mary’s Stadium (Southampton).
Both teams are going through dismal runs, and will try their best to put an end to it with a win this weekend. Coupling the struggling defenses on either side into this equation, it seems like a perfect recipe for a goal-fest.

Southampton vs Newcastle United Match Preview

Ralph Hasenhuttl’s men lost 3-1 on the road the last match-day, against West Ham. Despite having the upper hand, the team lost, and that too by a big margin against a relegation-battler.
This shows the state of affairs of the Saints’ defense. If the squad hopes to fight for the European spots, they will soon have to find solutions for their leaky backline.
Meanwhile, the Magpies played out a goalless draw at home, against Burnley. it was their seventh winless fixture on the trot. This long series of unimpressive performances have put the side in harm’s way, especially with the relegation race picking up pace below them.
As of now, they have a lead of five points over the cut-off, but the likes of West Ham, Watford, Bournemouth etc are raising their form, and soon, it will be hard for Steve Bruce’s men to keep up, if they fail to post some much-needed points.

Southampton vs Newcastle United Head-to-head (h2h)

  • Nine of the past ten games had three or more goals.
  • Seven of the previous eight match-ups had goals from both squads.
  • Seven of the former nine encounters at this stadium had over 2.5 goals.
  • The Saints scored three or more goals in 3 of the last 5 meetings at this stadium.

Southampton vs Newcastle United Prediction

The Saints have conceded two or more goals in four of their past five overall fixtures, and in two of their prior four appearances at this venue. On that same note, their opposite number have conceded twice or more in three of their preceding five match-ups, and in four of their former five road trips.
Going on, Hassenhuttl’s men scored twice or more in 8 of their preceding 14 overall games, and in three of their prior five home fixtures. And, their counterparts scored thrice or more in two of their last five games, and in two of their preceding four matches on the road.
Combining these stats with the desperation of the teams to get back into a winning track, especially with the season about to enter its final stretch – it seems as if we are on course to witness an encounter with plenty of goals.
Moreover, nine of the preceding ten overall h2h meetings, and seven of the prior nine at this ground had over 2.5 goals. Likely, logic dictates that the Over 2.5 Goals and the BTTS bets will bring good returns this Saturday.

Southampton vs Newcastle United Betting Tips

  • Both Teams to Score @ 1.83 (5/6)
  • Over 2.5 Match Goals @ 1.90 (9/10).

Sheffield United vs Norwich Prediction & Match Preview

Sheffield United vs Norwich
England – Premier League
Date: Saturday, 7 March 2020
Kick-off at 15:00 UK/ 16:00 CET
Venue: Bramall Lane (Sheffield).
The Blades have a game in hand, and they are currently just two points off a CL spot. This weekend, they are at home and are hosting the worst road team in the competition. Quite easily it could be said that the favorites for the day are United.

Sheffield United vs Norwich Match Preview

Wilder’s men secured a 1-1 draw at home against Brighton the last match-day. It was their fourth unbeaten game in a row, and also was the seventh such fixture from the past eight attempts.
This consistent form has allowed them to be in a position where they are able to challenge for a spot in the prestigious Champions League. For a team, that used to be in the Championship just the last season, this has been beyond wildest dreams.
Still, with just ten more match-days to go till the end of the campaign, the Blades will give all they can on the pitch, to elevate their club to one amongst the elites in Europe.
In the meantime, Daniel Farke’s men recorded a 1-0 win at home against Leicester. The fact that they are deep in the relegation zone has kicked the team into action.
However, with just a handful of games remaining till the end of the contest, the Canaries have a mountain to climb. And to pile on, they have some tough opponents coming up shortly in their schedule.

Sheffield United vs Norwich Head-to-head (h2h)

  • Chris Wilder’s men recorded a 1-2 road win in the reverse fixture.
  • The Canaries had lost three of the previous four clashes.
  • The Blades have scored two or more goals in each of the past four match-ups.
  • Since 2005, only twice have the guests won at this venue.

Sheffield United vs Norwich Prediction

The Blades are at home, and they are hosting the worst away team in the whole competition. Not only are Farke’s men the worst on the road, but they are placed dead-last in the table as well.
To be precise, the Canaries have had a single win away from home this whole season, and so far they have scored a total of six goals in such games.
On the other hand, to provide extra motivation for the hosts, Wilder’s men are going after a spot in Europe’s premier competition, and they have the confidence of an extra match in hand.
Furthermore, the team is on an unbeaten run of five fixtures (of which four were losses), and they have lost just against Liverpool, Manchester City, and Newcastle since September. At home, since September of 2019, they have experienced defeat only at the hands of the Reds, and Newcastle.
In addition, the Blades had won the reverse fixture, and had won three of the prior four h2h clashes as well. Moreover, they had also scored twice or more in the former four such match-ups.
Taking all these information into account, it’s clear that Sheffield United are firm favorites for the win this Saturday.

Sheffield United vs Norwich Betting Tips

  • Sheffield United to Win @ 1.70 (7/10)
  • Half Time Result: Sheffield United to Win @ 2.25 (5/4).

Crystal Palace vs Watford Prediction & Match Preview

Crystal Palace vs Watford
England – Premier League
Date: Saturday, 7 March 2020
Kick-off at 15:00 UK/ 16:00 CET
Venue: Selhurst Park (London).
After doing what was deemed to be impossible (beating Liverpool in the league), the Hornets will be extra motivated to keep the momentum alive. Coupling this with their impressive h2h record against the Glaziers, Watford will be counted on to win this weekend.

Crystal Palace vs Watford Head-to-head (h2h)

  • Nigel Pearson’s men won three of the past four games.
  • Roy Hodgson’s men conceded two or more goals in three of the past four fixtures.
  • Four of the previous five match-ups at this venue had goals from both teams.
  • The last time these two met at this stadium, the guests won 1-2.

Crystal Palace vs Watford Match Preview

The Glaziers won 0-1 on the road the last match-day, against Brighton. It was their second win in a row, but both results had come against out-of-form teams.
In fact, disregarding their wins against Manchester United in August, and Burnley in November, all their league victories had come against sides in the bottom tier of the table.
However, due to their nine-point cushion over the relegation cut-off, the team has the luxury to pick their battles. They have performed well against struggling teams (thus posting some very valuable points), and this has allowed them to not worry over their dismal performances against better squads.
In the meantime, Pearson’s men recorded a 3-0 win over Liverpool the last game week. The victory put an end to the seemingly unstoppable march of the Reds towards a Golden Premier League, and frankly, the rest of the teams in the league are thankful to the Hornets for their service (especially Arsenal).

Crystal Palace vs Watford Prediction

After their win against Jurgen Klopp’s men, self belief is at an all-time high at the Hornets’ camp, and they will definitely try to make it two wins in a row this Saturday. Moreover, they are in need of the points, to avoid being included in the relegation dogfight.
On the other hand, the Glaziers were winless in 11 of their prior 14 matches, and were so in 12 of their previous 17 appearances at this venue. In addition, they had also lost three of the last four clashes against this opponent, and the last face-to-face win for Hodgson’s men had come three years back.
Going on, the hosts of the day are also not under pressure to perform (due to their nine-point lead over the relegation line), and after two wins in a row, they could afford to take it easy this week.
Taking these observations into account, it’s deduced that Watford are the favorites this game week.

Crystal Palace vs Watford Betting Tips

  • Double Chance: Watford or Draw @ 1.50 (1/2)
  • Watford +0.5 Asian Handicap @ 1.50 (1/2).

"Madrid lauert und verfolgt jede seiner Bewegungen", so "AS".

Juli 2000 in Leeds (England) geboren.
