EXPRESS SPORT brings you five things we learned as Chelsea beat Middlesbrough.
Fabregas masterclass
The Spaniard has been in and out of Antonio Conte's starting XI.
And the midfielder has been linked with a move for regular first-team football.
But his class is undeniable and he run the show against Middlesbrough.
Fabregas claimed his 10th assist of the season which made him the first player to each that number in six different Premier League season.
Excellent Alonso
The left wing-back was a surprise summer signing by Conte last summer.
Alonso had a previous spell in England with Bolton and Sunderland but failed to impress.
But under Conte he has been integral to their shape and system.
And tonight Middlesbrough never got close to him.
His finish from Cesar Azpilicueta's delicate pass was well-taken.
Premier League title race
Chelsea now need to beat West Brom to seal the Premier League title and the watching Tony Pulis will have to come up with some game plan to stop them.
And it will be what they deserve for an outstanding season.
Their winning run following their 3-0 defeat to Arsenal in September has been the foundation of their success.
Middlesbrough relegated
It was always going to hard for Middlesbrough to deny Chelsea this evening.
The gulf in class was vast and a lack of quality throughout the side has cost them dearly.
But if Boro can keep hold of some of their players, they should be favourites to make an immediate return.
Adama Traore
One player who is unlikely to be at the Riverside next year is Traore.
But it would be a shock if he landed at a top club.
He was relegated with Aston Villa last season and now Boro.
And in his two seasons in the Premier League, he has barely improved.
Blistering pace but zero game intelligence.
