Swansea City have been relegated from the Premier League after losing 2-1 to Stoke City on the final day of the season.
The Swans had taken the lead but Peter Crouch completed a comeback to send their seven-year stay in England's top flight.
Swansea dropped into the bottom three for the first time in almost two months after losing to relegation rival Southampton in midweek, leaving them needing a miracle on the final day to survive the drop.
Paul Clement was sacked on December 20, after less than a year in charge, with the club bottom of the Premier League having won just three of 18 games all season.
Carlos Carvalhal was brought in on a deal until the end of the season on December 28 and beat Watford in days later in his first game.
The Spaniard won five of first nine games in charge to guide and the 4-1 win over West Ham on March 3 left the Swans in 13th.
However, just three points since was not enough and Swansea will be playing Championship football next season.
