Liverpool great gives verdict on whether club should buy Kai Havertz

Former Liverpool midfielder Dietmar Hamann has named Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Kai Havertz as the Bundesliga player that Premier League clubs should be looking at.
A host of names have been linked with a move to join Jurgen Klopp's side at Anfield in the next transfer window, with Havertz among the players who the Reds are attributed with an interest in.
The 20-year-old is widely regarded to be one of the most exciting young players in European football and has attracted a wealth of transfer interest, with Bayern Munich among them.
Hamann has now lifted the lid on the exciting Germany international and believes that Premier League clubs, including Liverpool, should be keeping their eye on him.
“He is an exceptional player, he reminds me of a young Michael Ballack. He has got that air of arrogance in a good way, he’s just a natural, he’s tall, he’s two-footed, he’s good in the air, he is very versatile and can play in any position," he told Sky Sports' Football Show.
“I think he is the best player we have got in Germany at the moment. There is talk about teams making a move to bring him to England and Havertz is the one I would be looking at.”
