Egypt have maintained their position at the 51st place in the FIFA global football rankings issued on Thursday.
There were no changes in the March rankings due to the suspension of all international games over the outbreak of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). Football across the globe has been suspended with no fixed dates for its resume.
The Pharaohs are seventh among the African nations, behind leaders Senegal (20), Tunisia (27), Nigeria (31), Algeria (35), Morocco (43), and Ghana (46).
The Pharoahs drew in Group G of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers alongside Kenya, Togo and Comoros.
Comoros lead group G with four points, Kenya are second with two points, and Egypt is in third place with two points after drawing in their first two games against Kenya and Comoros. Togo lies at the bottom of the group with a single point.
The Pharaohs will resume their AFCON qualifiers in August.
