Freiburg at home and Union on their travels play very similar style of football, tight lines and compact formation while waiting for opponent to make the first move and striking on the counter.

Both are barely averaging more than 2 goals per match (Union scored/conceded somewhat more though that was against more expansive sides, unafraid to go all out) so I believe we’re up for another game of chess.

That will end on a tie. While I would usually side with Union against out-of-form Freiburg, the Iron Ones had a tough midweek game against Leverkusen, their fitness level will be below those of Red&Blacks so I think they’ll shut up shop, play it safe and we’ll get a 0-0 or 1-1 draw.
