It surely doesn’t feel great to start the new season with a home loss against underdogs. That is what happened to DC United in Washington last Saturday against Colorado Rapids, and they are looking to bounce back and collect first points against Inter Miami. Once again, Audi Field will be the venue.
Visitors are one of two debutantes in the MLS this season, so no one really expects phenomenal results in the opening campaign. David Beckham’s team also got defeated seven days ago on the road against Los Angeles FC.

Departure of Wayne Rooney might have a bigger impact on the squad than initially though. DC United had a great time in the pre-season, winning three out of four games and keeping two clean sheets. Things were just not looking good in the initial MLS match. Despite the lead against Colorado, match was lost deservedly. The only goal for DC was scored by Russell Canouse.
Team from Washington have participated in the playoffs last season, after finishing the regular season in 5th position. Results at this stadium were not that amazing though, having won only 7 out of 17 encounters.
Inter Miami couldn’t get any tougher opponent for MLS debut than Los Angeles FC. Defeat was inevitable, but it’s not the end of the world to lose 1-0 against one of the strongest teams in the league.
Visitors and some of their roster members definitely lack experience. DC United had a great time in the pre-season so we will take the loss to Colorado as one bad, unlucky day. Home win bet is the primary suggestion.
Inter Miami have scored only one goal in three games so far, including pre-season, so we also fancy hosts to keep a clean sheet.
