Treble-chasing PSG beats Caen 3-1 to reach French Cup final

CAEN, France (AP) Paris Saint-Germain remained on course to win another domestic treble as it won 3-1 at Caen on Wednesday to reach the final of the French Cup.
PSG clinched its fifth league title in six seasons on Sunday and has already won the League Cup.
It will face third-division Les Herbiers on May 8 in a bid to win its third treble in four seasons.
PSG dominated at Caen and Kylian Mbappe fired home Edinson Cavani’s cross to give it a deserved lead in the 25th minute.
Ismael Diomande equalized two minutes before halftime with a deflected effort and Cavani had a goal ruled out for offside shortly after the restart.
It took until the 81st minute for PSG to restore its lead with Mbappe scoring his second of the match from close range after another cross by Cavani. However, it had to wait nearly five minutes before referee Francois Letexier awarded the goal after reviewing video footage.
Any hope Caen had of getting back into the match evaporated in the final minute as Diomande was shown a straight red card for a dangerous tackle on Javier Pastore.
Substitute Christopher Nkunku, who had been on the pitch less than two minutes, sealed the result in the fifth minute of stoppage-time, following a one-two with Dani Alves.
