Chelsea full-back Reece James has named Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling as the toughest opponent he has faced during his fledgling Premier League career.
James is enjoying a breakthrough campaign at Stamford Bridge, making 26 appearances across all competitions including 17 in the Premier League and five in the Champions League.
The 20-year-old has been tipped to add to England's already-extensive right-back options in the future, and he has named one of Gareth Southgate's star men as the most difficult player he has come up against so far.
"Probably Sterling I would have to say, he's got mad pace and is so sharp off the ball," James is quoted as saying by The Mirror.
Manchester United's Aaron Wan-Bissaka - another uncapped England hopeful at right-back - also recently identified Sterling as the toughest attacker he has faced.
