Tunisian center forward Omar Zekri announced that he has been diagnosed with COVID-19 along with several members of his family.
Zekri announced on his Facebook page that him and other family members tested positive for COVID-19.
The former Etoile du Sahel player also assured that he’s in good health and will remain isolated for the next two weeks.
It is worth mentioning that Zekri plays alongside Al Ahly academy graduate and former Egypt international Mostafa Faramawy.
The 23-year-old signed for Ben Guerdane last summer on a free transfer coming from Al Ahly, where he was unable to make any first team appearances.
Lybia international Ahmed Huwaydi also plies his trade with the Tunisian, joining them from Egyptian Premier League side Ittihad of Alexandria.
