MARSEILLE ENQUIRE FOR YOHAN CABAYE

Ligue 1 side Marseille have enquired for Crystal Palace midfielder Yohan Cabaye, according to L’Equipe on Get Football News France.
The French news outlet says Marseille are looking to strengthen their squad and be more competitive to qualify for Champions League places next season.
However, the report claims that the club’s enquiry will fail as the Frenchman is due to remain in the Premier League next season.
It is believed that Marseille are looking to improve all positions and Crystal Palace’s Yohan Cabaye fits the midfield role they are looking for.
Last month, Le10 Sport reported that Marseille are considering lining up an offer for Cabaye if the midfielder was to leave Palace in the summer.
The Ligue 1 one club is still yet to make an offer for the Palace midfielder but it was also reported that they have a plan ‘solely in place’ should Cabaye become available.
The Ligue 1 side fell short at the last hurdle as they were defeated 3-0 by Atletico Madrid, in the Europa League final last Wednesday.
The win would have confirmed their place in the Champions League group stages next season and manager Rudi Garcia is set to strengthen all positions.
