Rodolfo Tavana, Serie A’s representative on the FIGC’s medical coronavirus commission, has resigned.
Torino’s team doctor was appointed to the commission helping formulate the protocol to resume Serie A training.
However, he stepped down from the position earlier today, with Rai Sport reporting ‘internal conflicts’ as the reason.
As per the broadcaster, the ex-Milan medic was not consulted before the final drafting of the document delivered to government ministers.
A replacement for Tavana has yet to be announced.
