51% of fans would prefer to sign a prime Raúl before a prime Samuel Eto'o

Yesterday, we asked our readers to pick between Raul and Samuel Eto’o in a poll on our Facebook page, and the results were very interesting.
The Spaniard – who made more than 700 appearances for Real Madrid – won the vote by just 2%.
Raul scored 325 goals during a legendary 16-year spell at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.
For many years he was the top scorer in Champions League history, but Lionel Messi claimed this accolade back in 2014.
Raul enjoyed a successful international career, earning more than 100 Spain caps and scoring 44 goals in the process.

Meanwhile, Eto’o netted 360 times during a high-profile career with the likes of Barcelona, Inter Milan and Chelsea.
He also enjoyed success on the international stage, scoring 48 times in 95 appearances for Cameroon.
Both men won the Champions League three times during their respective careers - a feat that few have achieved in the history of the sport.

tt Harvey added: “Raul was a superstar. To score over 300 goals for a team like Real Madrid…wow!”
However, Genci Ballhysa had a different view: “I admire Raul as a player, and as a man, but you can’t compare him with Eto’o. He was at another level.”
Regardless of who you prefer, there’s no denying the pair are among the most influential names in Champions League history.
Although both men have now hung up their boots, they will continue to inspire future generations for years to come.
