The reigning champions Juventus are set to host third-placed Nerazzurri behind closed doors.
The reigning champions Juventus are set to host Nerazzurri in the Derby d’Italia on Sunday evening. Sadly, this match will be played behind closed doors due to coronavirus fears.
The hosts come into this match on the back of a 0-1 defeat to Lyon in the Champions League. The Bianconeri looked sluggish on the road yet again, especially in the first half, and they need to elevate their game big-time if they want to beat their archrivals.
With twelve points from their last six Serie A outings, Juve are fourth in the recent form table and second overall, one point behind Lazio, albeit with a game in hand, and six points ahead of third-placed Inter who are yet to face Sampdoria.
Maurizio Sarri’s side are boasting a stellar home record of eleven wins and one draw to date, averaging 2.42 goals scored per match, whilst conceding 0.83 in return. Juve are on a five-game winning streak at the Allianz Stadium with a combined goal difference of 14:2.
Inter Milan are coming off of back-to-back wins over Bulgarian champions Ludogorets in the Europa League. However, they are currently going through slump in the league, having won only two of their last six matches.
Their title bid took a proper hit two weeks ago when they suffered a 1-2 defeat to Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico and a loss on Sunday would be beyond devastating for Antonio Conte’s side.
The Nerazzurri have the best away record in the league with nine wins, two draws and one defeat, scoring 2.17 and conceding 1 goal per match on average. They have picked up eight points from their last five road games.

Juventus vs Inter Milan Prediction
I’m not impressed by either side at the moment and I’m leaning towards a draw. In normal circumstances, I’d probably back Juventus in DNB market, but without fans in the stands, value in on stalemate, I reckon.
I will also take goals on both ends. Both sides have world class strikers and rather leaky backlines, and it suits my 1-1 score line hunch. Let’s hope Cristiano Ronaldo (21/21) on one side and Romelu Lukaku (24/17) on the other can make this match interesting.
