Everton have been a confident bunch at Goodison Park, and have recorded five of their seven wins so far in front of the home crowd. With Brighton far from convincing on the road this term, the hosts are likely to eye all three points for the taking on Saturday.

Everton vs Brighton Prediction
Everton admitted their first PL defeat under Carlo Ancelotti last week after Manchester City edged past them at the Etihad with a narrow 2-1 scorecard. The hosts failed to make much of an impact in that latter clash and finished the ninety minutes with no more than two measly shots on target, as opposed to their foes who managed seven.
Nevertheless, the Toffees have now stumbled just once in their past six games in the top flight, garnering eleven points from a possible eighteen in the process.
Brighton, on the other hand, failed to keep their winning momentum going in their previous PL clash with Chelsea, after both teams scored just a goal apiece. Miserably, the guests have just one win to boast of from their last six fixtures.
It is also worth mentioning that picking up wins on the road has just not been Brighton’s cup of tea this season. The visiting contingent have tasted success just twice in their outings so far, and are one among the worst away sides in the cluster as well.
To make matters worse, Brighton have been at the losing end in each of their past two visits here. Given that Everton are also unbeaten in their last three PL games at home, the traveling faithful are left with no reason to have their hopes up.
Furthermore, despite faring poorly on the road, it needs saying that Brighton have not gone down without a fight. The guests have had their names on the scoresheet in each of their past six outings on the trot.
Moreover, they even scored three goals in the reverse fixture of this matchup alone. As such, expect neither side to keep a clean sheet in this one.
