Valencia managed to escape the very bottom of the standings in Primera Division with terrific displays in the second part of the season.

However, the Bats won’t come in the game with Real Sociedad in the best of the moods as they failed to find the back of the net in consecutive matches with Sevilla and Malaga.

The home draw with Sevilla definitely can’t be regarded as a failure, but the away loss to Malaga certainly can.

The team led by Salvador Voro thus ended the three-win streak, but luckily for the new manager, the Bats are already miles away from the relegation scrap and they don’t have any imperatives until the end of the season.

Real Sociedad

The Basque side has generally been enjoying a decent shape lately. The team has had a solid campaign since the start of the competition in Primera Division.

Eusebio Sacristian’s side currently holds the sixth position which leads to Europa League at the end of the season.

The trip to Mestalla will be the third tough away fixture for the team after journeys to Vicente Calderon and Camp Nou in last two rounds.

It is very hard to separate the two sides. Real Sociedad would have been favourites on the home pitch, but the draw somehow seems to be the most realistic of the three outcomes.

We also don’t expect to enjoy a goal fest knowing that the hosts had huge troubles with the efficiency in the final third lately.
