Arsenal vs Leicester City: Preview and Predictions

Arsenal vs Leicester City Match Preview 26th April 2017

Arsenal vs Leicester City
English Premier League
Date: Wednesday, 26th April 2017
Kick off at 19:45 UK/ 20:45 CET
Venue: Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal dropped down to the seventh position in the Premier League standings and the top four ending seems legit only in theory now for Arsene Wenger and his men.
If the French managed wants to keep the minimum of chances for making it to the top four at the end of the season, the victory over Leicester City on Wednesday evening at Emirates Stadium is a must.
Arsenal
The Gunners will come in the game in a good mood after securing the FA Cup final against Chelsea.
Arsenal saw off Manchester City in the semifinal after extra-time which was their second consecutive win in all competitions.
The Gunners have been pretty inspired when it comes to attacking displays on the home pitch as they netted ten goals in last three outings at Emirates.
Leicester City
Leicester City were unlucky to get eliminated from the most elite football competition. The Foxes failed to take advantage of their chances in the second leg with Atletico Madrid at King Power.
However, it has generally been a decent European adventure for the Foxes. This, unfortunately, can’t be said for their performances in Premier League where they currently sit in the bottom half of the standings.

Arsenal vs Leicester City: Head to head

Arsenal have been absolutely dominant in head to head encounters with Leicester City.
The Gunners took 47 wins from 97 meetings with the Foxes who failed to see off Arsenal since 1994.

Arsenal vs Leicester City: Prediction

The hosts have a much greater imperative in the battle for the top four positions.
The reigning champions will be without Islam Slimani and they have generally had a poor away record so far in the season.
