Spartak Moscow have struggled for consistency and sit huge 21 points behind the pace-setters Zenit after 20 Premier League outings, earning just 25 points along the way. They have picked it up over the winter break and now host Krasnodar on the back of a five-match winning streak, which promises a strong challenge.

Krasnodar returned to the competitive outings with a 2-0 home win over Ufa despite struggling in February, where they saw friendly losses to Molde, Malaga, and Rostov. They have been tough to score against but this wasn’t really obvious on the road, which could make the task at Otkrytiye Arena a tough one.

Krasnodar bagged the home points in a thriller contest back in October, where early goals from Marcus Berg and Sergej Petrov proved enough for all three – despite a late first-half goal from Jordan Larsson.

We don’t see them outclassing Krasnodar at this point, though, and we’ll now rather stick our necks out for the sides to share the spoils in a Draw priced at 3.20.

We do hope for a thrilling contest at Otkrytiye Arena and slim margins could make all the difference. With that in mind, we’re also going for a YES on Both teams to score at 1.90, which looks like great value after getting used to such occasions in head-to-head clashes over the past two years.
