On top of that, the Villans are on a four-game losing run, and they were winless in eight of their past ten overall fixtures. On the road, they are on a run of five matches without a win, and remained so in 12 of their preceding 13 trips.

Moreover, Rodgers’s men had also won the reverse fixture handsomely, and they further have the confidence of taking on not only an under-pressure relegation-battler, but an inexperienced and newly promoted team as well.
