Tunisian side CS Sfaxien (CSS) have reportedly completed the signing of Al Ahly right-back Hussein El-Sayed on a permanent basis.
El-Sayed joined CS Sfaxien on a six-month loan during the winter transfer window coming from his boyhood club Al Ahly.
And in just five appearances for the Black and Whites, the 28-year-old seemingly made a good impression on the club’s coaching staff and board.
CSS’s Secretary-General, Moez El-Mestery, even revealed that they hope to sign him on a permanent basis.
Now according to Tunisian news outlet Alchorouk, the Egypt international signed for his new side on a permanent basis after an agreement was reached between his parent club and the Tunisian giants.
The report also suggests that El-Sayed received offers from Egyptian Premier League sides such as Ismaily, Al Masry, Smouha and Ittihad of Alexandria but preferred to remain in Tunisia.
El-Sayed was a product of Al Ahly’s academy and earned his first first team appearance in 2011 before moving to Misr El-Makassa.
He was then bought back by Al Ahly in 2014 where he remained for six years, making 45 appearances along the way and lifting four Egyptian Premier League titles.
