Rangers fan wrestler Drew McIntyre challenges ex-Celtic star Chris Sutton

Rangers fan wrestler Drew McIntyre has called out outspoken ex-Celtic star turned pundit Chris Sutton in a range of messages on Twitter.
The Ayrshire born wrestler won a shot at the WWE heavyweight title at Wrestlemania in January after winning the famous Royal Rumble.
With the sports entertainment company’s flagship event still set to go ahead despite the fact it’ll be behind closed doors, McIntyre was conducting an interview with BT Sport.

"How about Scott Brown vs Chris Sutton, and I'll fight the winner?"

"We'll do it at Hampden!"

Ok, @DMcIntyreWWE just called for a Rangers vs Celtic wrestling match...

And @chris_sutton73 cut a promo right back 😂

In it, the big wrestler said that when he wins the WWE Heavyweight title, Celtic captain Scott Brown and pundit Sutton can fight each other with the victor taking on the wrestler.
And all whilst wearing his Rangers top.
Sutton responded by calling out McIntyre and challenging him to come and take the ex-striker’s crown.

McIntyre would then claim Sutton was in Henrik Larsson’s shadow as the two exchanged banter on Twitter.

It’s not often we’ll say this, but you’ve got to give it Sutton for the Amoruso line.
It was all in good jest and big Drew deserves the support of the Ibrox legions for nailing his colours to the mast and flying them loud and proud on the world stage.

Wrestlemania 36 is scheduled to take place this weekend behind closed doors, across two nights (April 4th and 5th) with McIntyre tipped to take the Heavyweight crown from Brock Lesnar in the competition’s Main Event.

If he does he will become the first British wrestler to hold the crown.
All the best Drew!
