Ashley Young has impressed Inter so much in just a few weeks that they have decided to extend his contract, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The wing-back joined from Manchester United in January for a nominal fee of €1.5m, as he was in the final six months of his contract at Old Trafford.
He made an immediate impact, contributing one goal and one assist in seven games for the Nerazzurri.
The 34-year-old quickly settled into Serie A football and his work-rate won over the fans as well as coach Antonio Conte.
It’s reported Inter have already agreed to activate the option in his contract for the 2020-21 season.
