Dijon are 18th but still have time to climb out of the bottom three. They were encouraged last week with a hard fought 3-2 victory over Angers at this ground but the visit of Bordeaux should provide a sterner test.

Bordeaux have been one of the form teams in Ligue 1 in the past month and this has seen the club climb to a heady 4th place. They are currently on a 3-game winning run. Away from home they have been solid with 3 wins from their last five matches and their two losses came against Nice and Monaco simply better teams than them this season.

Bordeaux are 19 points from 3rd place so they won’t finish any higher but they need the points as Lyon and Marseille could yet to take them over and dump Bordeaux out of a possible European placed finish.
