If you have joined in the official Celtic’s Youtube channel for the past two hours you’ll know Celtic TV was running a live video of the day Celtic stopped the ten. There was a cheeky dig before the video when the club posted on Twitter about stopping the ten, on the pitch.
It was over twenty years ago that Celtic found themselves in the reverse position that they find themselves in today, they were on the wrong side of nine in a row. With Rangers non-stop spending on big-name players, it was not the best time in the world for a Celtic fan.
It was only years later that the football world learned how Rangers signed those players. Now as Celtic are on the cusp of nine in a row and the quest for ten still very much alive only a worldwide pandemic could delay the inevitable. The noise from some clubs in the last few weeks have been deafening. Meanwhile, the Celtic have kept relatively quiet until this belter of a tweet.
