UEFA Champions League chatter (Liverpool-Roma)
"He was sort of bitching a little about, 'Did we overpay? I think we overpaid.' And I said, 'I'll buy you lunch.'"
-- Roma owner Jim Pallotta on Liverpool's owner, fellow American John W. Henry, with whom he worked on the deal in Boston last summer for the sale of Mohamed Salah to Liverpool for 42 million euros ($51 million). Henry was a little concerned about the price tag, but it has proved to be a bargain, given Salah's output (41 goals in 46 appearances in all competitions). (ESPN)
