The Bavarians collected their eighth consecutive German league crown after defeating Werder Bremen in front of an empty Weser Stadium to continue their domestic dominance.
Despite being separated by 16 places in table, it wasn't until the brink of half-time that Bayern got one hand on the trophy, making the breakthrough courtesy of Robert Lewandowski.
The omnipotent Pole volleyed home the opener after latching on to a lofted pass from Jerome Boateng, moving to a staggering 31 league goals and 46 strikes in all competitions.
It was also an eventful first 45 minutes for starlet Alphonso Davies who was lucky not to be sent off for lashing out a Bremen player, but also set the Bundesliga speed record with a stunning sprint of 36.5km/h.

After the break, Lewandowski almost bagged himself a second, only to be denied by the offside flag, before breaking character by missing a chance to close in on a half-century of goals.
But on 79 minutes, Davies returned to the centre of attention, earning himself the red card he'd deserved in the first-half for a second bookable offence after body-checking Miloš Veljković.
Nevertheless, Bayern did enough to hold on against the struggling home side, limping over the line for the title glory with a 1-0 victory.

Eighth consecutive German title

Bayern have won seven out of seven of their league games since action resumed amidst the coronavirus pandemic, allowing them to pull away from rivals Borussia Dortmund.
A 1-0 win at Signal Iduna Park courtesy of Joshua Kimmich's stunning chip proved a crucial result in the title race, while fellow challengers RB Leipzig and Borussia Monchengladbach also faded away.
Hans-Dieter Flick had taken over in the Bayern dugout after the catastrophic 5-1 defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt, which saw 2018/19 Bundesliga-winning Niko Kovac get the chop.
And after initially losing games to Bayer Leverkusen and 'Gladbach, the champions didn't look back with a 100% record since December 7 aside from a goalless draw with Leipzig.
Title glory now gives Bayern the opportunity of securing a domestic double against Leverkusen in the DFB-Pokal final as well as challenging in the Champions League when its return is confirmed.

There's a real feeling that Bayern could be a major player not only in Germany, but also in Europe, particularly with their star man Lewandowski emerging as an early favourite for the Ballon d'Or.
