Milik an idea for Milan?

Milan have allegedly targeted Arkadiusz Milik as the ideal replacement if Zlatan Ibrahimovic should bid them farewell this summer.
The Sweden international returned to San Siro this winter and the 38-year-old has been a great influence at Milanello this term.
Stefano Pioli’s men were spurred on by his presence and went on a run of seven games unbeaten across all competitions.
Milan had climbed to seventh in Serie A before the League was suspended amid the Coronavirus outbreak but the turbulence at San Siro started ahead of the national emergency.
Zvonimir Boban was sacked from his position as sporting director at Milan and Paolo Maldini might follow him out the door after the current season.
The future of influential stars, including Zlatan, has been uncertain since the sudden change and CEO Ivan Gazidis will have to convince the Swedish superstar to stay put.
But the Gazzetta dello Sport has revealed that the Rossoneri have an idea in mind should Ibrahimovic leave the club after only six months.
Napoli forward Milik has appeared in links with the club and the Poland international could reportedly be tempted by the Rossoneri assuring him of a place in the starting XI.
The Partenopei are struggling to renew the 26-year-old’s contract at the San Paolo, but the report claims that President Aurelio De Laurentiis will not be willing to lower the price.
Milik has scored nine goals in 16 games for the Azzurri this term and Milan might have to convince De Laurentiis by implementing one of their own stars in an exchange deal, with the report mentioning a possible swap for Hakan Calhanoglu.
