Veteran Kenyan tactician Henry Omino breathed passed away in the wee hours of Friday 20 March 2020.
Football lovers in the country continue to send their message of condolences to one of the most revered tactician in the Kenyan scene who is more known during his stint with Western Stima.
Omino, however, was in charge of Agrochemicals too and had his last stint with Kisumu All-Stars this season in the Kenyan Premier League before being shown the door for a spate of poor results.
But what of his stint at Stima?
Omino joined Stima in June 2009 –a season after they were promoted to KPL-from Agrochemicals FC and led the team to an 11th place finish after 8 wins, 12 draws and 10 losses.

2011 Season
- Position: 11th, Wins: 9, Draws: 10, Losses: 11
2012 Season
- Position: 9th, Wins: 11, Draws: 7, Losses: 12
The club appointed Francis Baraza as the head coach in the 2013 season with Omino making a returning a week into the 2014 season.
2014 Season
- Position: 11th, Wins: 9, Draws: 9, Losses: 12
2015 Season
- Position: 11th, Wins: 9, Draws: 8, Losses: 13
2016 Season
- Position: 6th, Wins: 10, Draws: 14, Losses: 6
2017 Season
- Western Stima was relegated this season after Omino redeployed to the position of the club’s technical director with ten games to go. The last ten games were overseen by Ugandan tactician Richard Makumi
- A total of 34 games was played (18 league teams) with Omino overseeing 24 of those games
