Former Al Ahly forward Ahmed Raouf has announced his retirement from football, ending his 12-year career in the top flight.
Raouf began his career with Qanah before he joined Enppi in 2008 as he departed Egypt to play for Al Ittihad Tripoli six years later.
The 37-year-old joined Cairo giants Al Ahly in 2014, helping the Red Devils win the Egyptian Premier League title and the CAF Confederation Cup.
Following his short spell with Al Ahly, Raouf then joined Al Masry on a free transfer and scored 22 goals in 69 appearances as he guided the Port Said side to CAF Confederation Cup qualification in 2016.
The 2010 AFCON winner went on to represent multiple Egyptian Premier League clubs, including Smouha, Wadi Degla, Petrojet, and Entag El-Harby.
After announcing his retirement, Raouf revealed that he will begin his coaching career in the upcoming period.
