AFC CUP 2017 - GROUP C: SAHAM 3-1 NEJMEH

Muscat: A Mohammed Al Ghassani hat-trick saw Oman’s Saham come from a goal down to end their 2017 AFC Cup campaign with a 3-1 win over Nejmeh from Lebanon on Monday.

Nicolas Cofi gave the Lebanese side the lead after just 13 minutes when he headed home Nader Matar’s free kick from close range before Al Ghassani struck in the 36th, 74th and 87th minutes to earn Saham all three points.

The win ensures Saham finish the Group Stage in third place in Group C on seven points, three ahead of Nejmeh.
