Bournemouth staged one of the most remarkable comebacks of the season, fighting from 3-1 down to win 4-3

Liverpool blew the chance to go second on Sunday as Bournemouth staged an incredible comeback and claimed all three points.
The Cherries went 2-0 down early in the first half thanks to goals from Sadio Mane and Divock Origi.
Bournemouth were denied a first half penalty but finally pulled one back from the spot via Callum Wilson.
Emre Can then looked to have sealed the win when he curled in a delicious shot from outside of the box to restore Liverpool's two-goal cushion.
But Bournemouth somehow found another gear and dragged themselves level through Ryan Fraser and Steve Cook.
And just when Jurgen Klopp was settling for a point, Nathan Ake grabbed an injury time winner.
Our man John Cross was at the game, here are five things he learned...

1. Liverpool struggled without Philippe Coutinho

Most clubs would miss a No10 like Coutinho and it clearly won’t be plain sailing for Liverpool.
It looked as if they would win at Bournemouth but Liverpool really missed Coutinho’s invention and quality.

2. Liverpool’s squad looks stretched

Can they last the pace even without European football? For the vast majority of the game, it looked plain sailing.
But they threw it away in the end and that must go down to not having many options from the bench to change it.
With Joel Matip out injured, in stepped Brazilian midfielder Lucas Leiva to fill in again as an emergency centre half.
Jurgen Klopp was even reduced to putting three kids on the bench as Evie Ejaria, Ben Woodburn - who became Liverpool’s youngster scorer in midweek - and Trent Alexander-Arnold.
They need their big guns and experience back.s

3. Bournemouth end Sunday curse

Since being promoted to the Premier League, Bournemouth had lost all their previous eight games on a Sunday.
They have finally ended the curse.

4. Jack Wilshere hungry to impress

Wilshere was darting and running everywhere, his energetic midfield display a real bright spot for Bournemouth.
He kept going and was influential as Bournemouth clawed their way back in the game.

5. Eddie Howe in for the long haul

The match day programme dedicated ten pages to Eddie Howe passing the milestone of 300 games in charge at Bournemouth.
Howe, 39, is still a young manager but has taken the club from the brink of administration to Premier League stability. What an outstanding achievement.
