Austria’s World Cup chances have taken a massive hit with back to back losses in their group to Serbia and Republic of Ireland. This has set back the nation to 4th place in the standings and they have fallen six points behind the leaders. They are at least scoring goals though and this could bode well for this friendly encounter with Slovakia.

Slovakia have won 2 and lost 2 from their group which also features England and are in 3rd place just two points behind Slovenia for an automatic qualification place.
