The Eagles really did themselves a disservice with their unimpressive performances since the lockdown was lifted. They were in line to give a good fight for the title. However, they now find themselves placed seven points below Juve.

Last match-day was a gift of a fixture for Simone Inzaghi’s men – as they were pitted against one of the worst teams in the competition, while the Old Lady had to take on AC Milan. And both the title-hopefuls went on to lose their respective fixtures.

However, Maurizio Sarri’s men have a tough match-up this weekend against Atalanta, and if the Eagles manage to win this upcoming game, they still might be in the race – especially considering that they have a fixture against the Old Lady remaining.

Considering the form of Inzaghi’s men at home, along with their h2h superiority against Neroverdi, expect a Lazio win this Saturday.

As things stand, the Eagles have the advantage. They are determined to give the toughest of fights for the title, and they hope Juve would lose against Atalanta, while they themselves could secure the victory.

Consider that they have won an impressive 21 of their preceding 25 home fixtures, and they have lost just twice at this venue since May of 2019. One of these losses had come against AC Milan, and the other had come in the Europa League.
