Sevilla have been playing one of their finest seasons in recent years, currently in third place of La Liga table, only behind to the two power houses Real Madrid and Barcelona. With 24 points from 12 matches, Sevilla will be looking to extend their streak and maintain solid chances of threatening the two titans of Spanish football if they should make any further slip ups, the way Atletico Madrid did a few seasons back.

Valencia on the other hand, were in similar position some seasons ago, but this year the bats are in a very unfavorable position, currently sitting 16th with only 11 points and much closer to the relegation zone than European competitions.
