A big win for the Israeli minnows sets up a December showdown with Southampton, while Roma have won Group E with a game to spare
Inter Milan confirmed their exit from the Europa League with a 3-2 defeat at the hand of Hapoel Be'er Sheva, two months after their shock 2-0 defeat to the Israeli minnows at the San Siro.
The visitors raced into an early lead after Mauro Icardi opened the scoring, before Marcelo Brozovic made it two with just 25 minutes played.
But new manager Stefano Pioli was forced to watch as his side capitulated in the second half - goals from Lucielmo Palhano Soares and Anthony Nwakaeme levelling the score, before Ben Sahar grabbed a 94th minute winner.
Following Southampton's disappointing defeat at the hands of Group K leaders Sparta Prague, they are now level with Hapoel on 7 points - the two sides meet in the final group stage game in December with qualification to the next round on the line.
Elsewhere, Fenerbahche remained in control of Group A with a comfortable 2-0 win over Zorya Luhansk, thanks to second-half goals by Miroslav Stoch and Simon Kjaer.
In the other game of the group, Manchester United romped to a 4-0 win over Feyenoord at Old Trafford - but there are still several permutations open in Group A.
Roma qualified as Group E winners with a 4-1 win against Viktoria Plzen.
Former Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko scored a hat-trick - he now has give goals in the competition, one behind Athletic Bilbao's Aduriz, who is on six.
But the pick of the bunch was substitute Diego Perotti's 82nd-minute rabona that took a deflection of Viktoria defender Ales Mateju on the way into the net.
