Just a few weeks ago it seemed that Nantes had turned a corner with back to back wins but they followed that up with losses to Rennes and Nice shipping 6 goals in the process. This has left Rene Girard’s team back to the drawing board. At least they are back at home and will have a chance to get all three points against Toulouse.

If they are to do that though the Canaries will have to find a way to win in front of their home fans. So far this season they have done so just once and have the 2nd to worst home record in Ligue 1.

Just what has gone wrong at Toulouse is the bigger question for this game. In early October they were in fine form and underlined that by beating Monaco 3-1 even though they fell behind in that match.

But since then they have won just 1 point from the past six and have fallen off the radar so to speak. Currently they are in 6th place but a loss here would see Toulouse lose touch with the front line of teams.
