UEFA Euro 2020 will be played this summer in what will be the first time that tournament matches will be held across mulitple European countries. This move has already been paying off for UEFA who will be making at least 25% more revenue compared to 2016 event. UEFA are expecting atleast €1 billion in profit for UEFA Euro 2020 which is unprecedented considering UEFA Euro 2016 was a great success and generated around €847 million. So the increase in profit for UEFA means the participating nations and the ones failed to qualify will get bigger pot of prize money allocated for the event. UEFA Euro 2020 Prize Money Pool (Confirmed): UEFA has announced that out of the total €1 billion expected profit €371 million ($456m) will be used as prize money pool which gets a massive 23% increased compared to 2016 event.
