Comment dit-on « rêvons plus grand » en breton ?

China's national football team on Wednesday announced a 27-strong squad for a training camp in May as they prepare for delayed World Cup qualifying matches, which as of yet have not been rescheduled.
Seven-time Chinese Super league title winners Guangzhou Evergrande have five players in the squad, including naturalized striker Elkeson, also known as Ai Kesen, and striker Wei Shihao who is returning from injury.

Brazilian-born striker Aloisio Goncalves, or Luo Guofu, was named in the roster for the first time and could also make his debut when the games resume.
Luo joined Shandong Luneng from Sao Paulo in 2014, and became the top goal-scorer in 2015 Chinese Super League.
He then moved to Hebei Fortune in 2016 before leaving for China League One's team Guangdong South China Tiger based in Meizhou, south China's Guangdong Province, for two seasons. He became a member of Guangzhou Evergrande in November 2019.
The 31-year-old recently said via social media that it's his honor to represent China to compete in World Cup qualifiers.

Beijing Guoan also have five players in the squad including naturalized striker Nico Yennaris, also known as Li Ke, who was born in 1993 in the UK. Li's mother is Chinese.
However, Espanyol forward Wu Lei is not involved.
This is the first time that three naturalized players have been named in the squad with Li Tie's side currently sitting second in the five-team Asian Football Confederation (AFC) qualifying Group A with seven points from four games, eight points behind group leader Syria. March's games against the Maldives and Guam, as well as matches with the Philippines and Syria, slated for June, are all postponed.

Premier League holds talks with 'Project Restart' under pressure

Premier League clubs were due to hold talks on Friday on how to finish the season as Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero admitted players were scared about being rushed back into action.
The English top-flight is facing an eye-watering estimated loss of around £1 billion ($1.25 billion) if no more football is played due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Playing the 92 remaining games behind closed doors would mitigate that loss, avoiding the need to repay hundreds of millions to broadcasters.
Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool are on the brink of their first league title for 30 years and there are many other issues to resolve, including Champions League qualification and relegation.
But the English top-flight faces huge logistical difficulties in its attempts to return to action, with Britain one of the countries worst-hit by COVID-19.
"Obviously, the majority of players are scared but above all because they have children, babies and family, they might live with their parents," Aguero told Spanish show El Chiringuito TV.
"If we return I am sure everyone will be tense because the minute one person starts to feel ill, it will be 'what's going on there?'."
Players would potentially face weeks away from their families, quarantined in hotels.
"I am hoping that it doesn't come that scenario," said Brighton striker Glenn Murray. "That is far-fetched, to spend eight weeks away from your family is quite a big ask."
Murray also labelled the idea that players could be asked to wear face masks during training sessions as "farcical".
Former Manchester United captain Gary Neville, who owns a stake in League Two side Salford City, is one of many who believes that economic factors are overriding safety considerations.
"How many people have to die playing football in the Premier League before it becomes unpalatable?" Neville told Sky Sports.
"If it was a non-economic decision there would be no football for months."
Just providing the tests necessary to get the ball rolling is a political headache.
According to reports, players, coaches and backroom staff would need to be tested two to three times a week.
"If football was to resume then testing will be key and an extra layer of training will be required," former Chelsea doctor Eva Carneiro told the BBC.
"It only takes one case for all of this to blow up."
Although those tests would be privately sourced and paid for, there is still unease at the prospect of young, healthy footballers being regularly tested when other members of society are not.
The Premier League can ill afford another PR disaster after several stumbles so far.
Liverpool, Tottenham and Bournemouth have backtracked on their plans to use government money to prop up the wages of non-playing staff due to public pressure.
There are also fears that football's return might provoke supporters to ignore social-distancing guidelines, even if games take place behind closed doors.
Liverpool mayor Joe Anderson believes "thousands of people" would turn up outside Anfield on the day the Reds end their 30-year wait to win the Premier League.
With so much at stake, the Premier League will do everything in its power not to have to follow the examples of leagues in France and the Netherlands in abandoning their seasons.
However, even the world's most powerful league may find the difficulties too great and have to brace itself for a devastating financial hit.

Santos star keeps reminding media of his Manchester United transfer dream

Venezuela international Yeferson Soteldo has reiterated his desire to make a move to Europe in the future and sign for Manchester United.
The Santos midfielder has revealed he would sign a lifetime contract at Old Trafford if given the chance to sign for Manchester United.
I mean, is it possible to fall in love with a footballer even though you haven’t seen him play?

He’s making a good first impression.
Looking at our archives, Soteldo has popped up previously to admit that he wants to join the Red Devils, so I think we can say he is looking for a transfer pretty soon.
Soteldo joined the Brazilian side in 2019 but is already looking for a big move to Europe.
Everton already have one diminutive winger from South America in Bernard, but the Toffees have been linked with Soteldo since Santos president Jose Carlos Peres spoke to Calciomercato revealing that the Merseyside outfit are keen on the player.

Peres added that he told Inter Milan to pay €35m (£32m) for Soteldo while praising his ‘sensational skills’.
In a recent interview, the 22-year-old expressed his desire to sign for United and believes he has the attributes to be a hit in the Premier League.
“I don’t like rumours, I have my while family in Venezuela. I want to finish this stage at Santos by December, with the Copa Libertadores and whatever is possible and then take another step,” he told Gazeta Esportiva, as cited by Manchester Evening News.
“I always dreamed of playing for Manchester United, the dream remains intact.
“There are many steps to get there, but I feel I can. I want to go to Europe, but not to go and come back.
“I want to go and pursue my career with greater success. I feel like I’m prepared and I have to wait for the right moment to do it.”
He was then asked whether he’d accept an offer from United even if Real Madrid or Barcelona came knocking.

But United is his dream and part of the reason is how his idol Cristiano Ronaldo became a superstar at Old Trafford.
He added: “I’ve been following Cristiano Ronaldo since I was a child, I saw him at Manchester United and that’s why my love and desire is to play at Old Trafford.
“I would choose them easy. I would sign a lifetime contract.”

Newcastle fans react as club reportedly considering Flamengo manager Jorge Jesus

Newcastle United supporters have reacted on Twitter to reports that Flamengo manager Jorge Jesus has emerged as another potential candidate to replace Steve Bruce on Tyneside – and many are all for the idea.
Jesus, 65, has been in charge of Brazilian side Flamengo since June 2019 and has completely changed the landscape of football in Brazil. Indeed, his tactics of a high press and a high defensive line took Flamengo to the Copa Libertadores title.
The former Benfica and Sporting Lisbon manager also pushed Flamengo into the final of the Club World Cup, taking Liverpool to extra time before Roberto Firmino scored the only goal of the game in the 99th minute to win.

Jesus has enormous experience, managing 13 other sides before Flamengo. He took Benfica to three Premeira Liga titles, and to two successive Europa League finals in 2012-13 and 2013-14. He has a contract at Flamengo until June 1.
Goal claim Newcastle are interested in Jesus, and actually tabled the Portuguese manager an offer last summer following the departure of Rafa Benitez – before owner Mike Ashley eventually inserted Steve Bruce as boss.
Newcastle supporters have reacted on Twitter to the news that the club are now considering Jesus, after first being linked with Mauricio Pochettino, Luciano Spalletti, Lucien Favre, Max Allegri and Rafa Benitez. Many feel he would be a top appointment.

Avoided the rumour mill until now but Jorge Jesus to just has to be true and I’ll accept nothing else.
