Having won the FA Cup final twice together in the last three seasons, the duo will face off. They will put past alignments behind them, and hope that they can lift the illustrious trophy.
While it won’t be a direct battle, one would assume, it will certainly be a case of who has the better game. They both have a terrific Wembley Stadium record, which will certainly come into play here.
Alexis Sanchez will look to cause problems from wide, whereas Olivier Giroud will want to get on the end of crosses. Giroud will face more competition getting into the starting lineup, but due to his form compared to Alvaro Morata’s, it should be an easy choice.
Giroud has beaten David de Gea on more than one occasion, but the same can be said for Alexis with Thibaut Courtois. If these two are on top of their games, then we can expect a real goal fest between the two sides.
Of course, there are other battles which will determine the outcome of the tie, but these are the three I’m most looking forward to. It’s certainly going to be a good game, with plenty of drama until the very end.
