MLS Today: Breaking down the first tripleheader of the MLS is Back Tournament

The second week of the MLS is Back Tournament started bright and early Monday morning with Toronto FC and D.C. United kicking off the first tripleheader of the competition, which means there will be a lot to talk about on MLS Today, which airs immediately after the game on MLSsoccer.comFacebook and Twitter.
Hosts Susannah Collins and Calen Carr will recap Monday’s opener, analyze Michael Bradley’s first game of the 2020 season and will have live look-ins at the post-match press conferences.
They’ll also look back at Sunday night’s Group D matches, breaking down Minnesota United’s come-from-behind win over 10-man Sporting Kansas City despite being shorthanded and discuss the difference between Clint Irwin’s yellow card and Tim Melia’s red.
And they’ll preview tonight’s Group F games — what will LAFC look like against the Houston Dynamo (8 pm ET | FS1, TUDN, TSN, TVAS) without Carlos Vela? And is the pressure on Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez and the LA Galaxy to get a win out of the gate against the Portland Timbers (10:30 pm ET | FS1, TUDN, TSN, TVAS)?
There’s all that and much, much more on MLS Today immediately following the end of the Toronto FC-D.C. United match.
