The Premier League season may have ended, but there is still plenty of football ahead of the summer's World Cup.
Chelsea face Manchester United in the FA Cup final on Saturday, while Fulham will look to seal promotion against Aston Villa in the Championship Play-off final next week.

Buffon's agent hints at West Ham move

Gianluigi Buffon’s agent Silvano Martina has dropped a hint that the Italian goalkeeper could consider a move to the Premier League in the summer.
The veteran stopper will play his final game for Juventus this weekend and is weighing up his options for the summer.
I don’t know if it will be a total farewell to football. He wants two weeks to talk to his family and come to a decision. In England, he always really admired West Ham supporters, and even wrote about it in his book.

Darren Moore confirmed as West Brom boss

Darren Moore has been given the West Brom job on a permanent basis after impressing towards the end of last season.

Last barrier to Arteta taking the Arsenal job

According to the Independent, the only thing standing between Mikel Arteta and the Arsenal job is the make up of his backroom staff, which is yet to be fully decided.
The report claims there is likely to be a role for current midfielder Santi Cazorla, who could accept a player/coach role.
There could even be a place for former striker Thierry Henry, who is currently coaching with the Belgian national team.

Allegri hints at Juve stay

Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri says it is “highly likely” that he will remain with the Serie A side next season.
Allegri has been linked with the vacant Arsenal job, but said today:
The likelihood that I’ll stay at Juve? Very high. I’ll meet the club and start planning for the future next week. My intention is to stay here for the moment, I don’t see any reasons to look elsewhere. I repeat that we’re going to talk with the club and if the objectives remain the same we’ll continue together without any problem.

The former England manager has signed a two-year-deal to become the new Queens Park Rangers boss.

City not to pursue deal for Busquets

According to Marca, Manchester City will not be following up their interest in Sergio Busquets as Barcelona will not allow the midfielder to leave for less than his £174.83m release clause.

Stoke confirm that they have parted company with Paul Lambert by mutual consent.

Arteta announcement to be made in the coming days

According to Goal, Mikel Arteta has agreed a deal in principle to become the new Arsenal manager.
The former Gunners midfielder met with Pep Guardiola and Manchester City director of football Txiki Begiristain yesterday to discuss the possibility of taking over at Arsenal, with both Guardiola and Begiristain understood to have given the move their blessing.
Despite not yet putting pen-to-paper, the announcement of Arteta’s return to the Emirates Stadium will reportedly be made in the coming days.

Benitez makes West Ham demands

Rafa Benitez has demanded a £100million transfer kitty to leave Newcastle and take over as West Ham boss.
That is according to the Daily Express, who say the Spaniard also wants full control of transfers and a £6million-a-year salary.
Former Liverpool boss Benitez is reportedly West Ham’s No.1 choice to succeed David Moyes at the London Stadium, despite reports that Manuel Pellegrini is now favourite.

Martinez pens new Belgium deal

Roberto Martinez has signed a new two-year deal as Belgium manager.
The former Everton manager is set to stay on as Belgium boss until after Euro 2020.

Palace weigh up new deal for Zaha

Crystal Palace are weighing up offering Wilfried Zaha a new deal that would make him the club’s top earner.
The 25-year-old forward has become Palace’s talisman and inspired them to Premier League survival this season with nine goals and three assists.
And they could now reward their player of the year with improved terms to extend his stay at Selhurst Park and fend off his suitors, which reportedly include Manchester City.
