After a seemingly lacklustre campaign under Pedro Caixinha and Graeme Murty, new Rangers manager Steven Gerrard must work on his wishlist for the upcoming summer transfer window. If a report from The Mirror is to be believed, the former Liverpool star is keen on acquiring a deal for Dominic Solanke.
Solanke is yet to score his first goal for Liverpool but the youngster has received quite a bit of game time under Jurgen Klopp at Anfield this season. The 20-year-old has appeared 25 times for the Reds throughout the campaign so far and has been allotted 4 starts in the Premier League.
Granted, that is not enough for a player to develop and reach his true potential and a move to Rangers could help him on that front.
Solanke boasts of immense talent and potential and he could work wonders for the Scottish giants. Gerrard has his work cut out as he attempts to pose a challenge to Celtic next term and Solanke could certainly increase the club’s chances of doing so.
