Having qualified for the Champions League next season, Sevilla will test their form in the clash with Valencia, desperate to land in the Europa League spot.
Sevilla has been a silent killer with losing none of their matches post lockdown. The host has five wins and five draws in their last ten fixtures in the league, with six clean sheets in it.
Their previous clash was on the road against Real Sociedad, and the match ended in a goalless draw.
Julen Lopetegui’s men have four wins within the recent five fixtures in the campaign and three of their last five wins have come at home showing their hold of the home ground advantage.
Valencia has encountered five losses and three wins in their previous ten clashes in the league, following a 1-0 win at home against the relegated Espanyol in the last match.
All three wins in their schedule post lockdown have come in games at home. On the contrary, four of their five defeats were courtesy of their trips on the road in the contest.
With such poor away form in the league, Los Murcelagos will not probably have any chance in taking all three points back home along with the promotion spot.
Sevilla vs Valencia Head-to-head (h2h)
- The visitor is unbeaten in their last six matches.
- Two of their recent five fixtures have ended in a draw.
- Both teams have scored in two of the last six clashes.
- Their previous encounter resulted in a 1-1 draw.
- The host is winless at home in the recent two meetings.
Sevilla vs Valencia Prediction
Sevilla has confirmed their berth in the Champions League qualifiers and is now at the discretion of giving Valencia a chance to feature in Europa League qualifiers in the league table. Julen Lopetegui’s side is enjoying a ten-game unbeaten home run and have lost only once in 16 league home attempts.
In the meantime, Los Murcelagos are winless in the last ten away fixtures in the campaign, failing to score in six of the seven losses in it. With their poor away form, it is unlikely for Los Palanganas to lose before them at such a prime form in the season.
The host will probably try to take on the Champions League Group stage fixtures on the back of a home win and since the visitors cannot be written off in the encounter, the draw no bet over Sevilla with 1.44 odds will probably be the best bet in the clash for the punters.
Their recent h2h meetings with each other in overall have seen no high scoring affairs. The last four h2h clashes produced only two goals in a game and the tip for under 3.5 goals in full-time will thus be a probable bet from the goals area for the ninety minutes.
