Andrew Robertson wants to retire at Liverpool.
The left-back arrived at Anfield from Hull City in the summer of 2017 and has lifted the Champions League, Club World Cup, UEFA Super Cup and Premier League after becoming undisputed first-choice under Jurgen Klopp.
Glasgow-born Robertson is a staunch Celtic supporter - starting his youth career with the Scottish giants - but told The Lockdown Tactics podcast playing for Liverpool has changed his perception of one day signing for the Bhoys.
"It's something that I think about quite a lot to be honest," the 26-year-old admitted.
"As my career started to progress, if you had asked me at Hull would I have liked to have gone back up to Celtic I'd have said 100 per cent I want to play for the club I have supported all my life.
"But now I've kind of found a home at Liverpool. I love playing for this club and playing at the highest level and if I could retire at Liverpool I'd bite your hand off for it now.
"Playing at this club is amazing the way you get looked after, the way the fans are, and playing at Anfield every second week is incredible. In an ideal world I retire here but I know how hard that is going to be.
"When I was younger I wanted to play for Celtic and have my best years at Celtic. I didn't want to be 33, 34 and hanging on and going up there when I knew my best years were gone."
