Report: Buffon until 2021

Veteran goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has reportedly decided to extend his contract with Juventus until June 2021.
Tuttosport reveals that the veteran has no intentions to stop playing and after a sting at PSG last season, the 42-year-old will extend his current deal expiring this summer.
It will be extended to the satisfaction of all parties involved and the former Italy international, who earlier revealed that he feels “like a point of reference in the dressing room”, will be allegedly be ready to help the Old Lady on and off the pitch also next season.
Despite having left the Bianconeri once already, the relationship between the player and the Turin side has not diminished and a year-to-year discussion about his future has been expected.
With Serie A currently suspended and Buffon only having appeared seven times in Serie A this term, he has helped shoulder the burden of first choice Wojciech Szczesny in the Coppa Italia and once in the Champions League.
He kept a clean sheet during the 2-0 win against Bayer Leverkusen in the prestigious competition, whilst he has helped the Old Lady to the semi-finals of the Italian Cup.
In his 11 games this term, Buffon has kept three clean sheets and has conceded nine goals in total across all competitions.
The veteran arrived in Turin for €52m in July 2001, when he moved from Parma, setting a world record fee for a goalkeeper at the time.
He has picked up nine Scudetti during his time with the Bianconeri, the first coming in his first season 2001-02 and the last in 2017-18, before his one year in Paris.
The World Cup winner from 2006 has won five Coppa Italia trophies and picked up six winners medals in the Supercoppa Italiana.
